K-Connect’s Community Success Measures
What Does it Mean to Measure Community Success?
Accomplishing a goal is impossible without first knowing what the standard for success is. With Basis, K-Connect worked directly with community workgroups to develop a framework community health.
Through comprehensive analysis driven by the community, Basis identified eight specific goals for success that guided K-Connect’s strategies for improvement. Through this work, communities were able to know what success was and how to measure it.
Community-Driven Work
At Basis, we understand that community input, opinion, and direction determine project success. With the community, we:
- developed a rubric for assessing the quality of outcome measures proposed by the workgroups.
- collaboratively identified equitable outcome goals for the community.
- refined the proposed measures to align with existing research and strategies.
